how do u tell if a guy actually loves you. he said something to me, which i took as a hint. about how much he loved football and did i like football, and then he said, almost for a joke even, what am i going to do when i get a boyfriend who loves football? is that a hint? he knows i love him, always has. i dont get it.

Honey, looking at your previous answers, he obviously knows your feelings towards him and so do a lot of other people. I think he is very fond of you as a friend at the moment. You have given him plenty of opportunity for him to let you know if he wanted anything more. Don't be so available to him. Do some stuff with your girlfriends, have fun away from him. Let him see you are independent and don't offer yourself to him on a plate. He may not be interested now but if he sees you from a different angle, having fun away from him, he may become more interested. People change all the time, especially when they are young. Good Luck!
