I'm looking for the dimensions (length, width) and not necessarily how much water it can hold.

Thanks in advance.

The dimensions of an Olympic pool are required to be 25 metres by 50 metres.

According to the rules of FINA.org, an Olympic pool should be 50 m long by 8 times 2.5 meter lanes with 2.5m outside lanes 1 and 8 (so 10*2.5 = 25m) - minimum depth 2m.

In English units:

50m = 164.042 ft

25m = 82.02 ft

2.0m = 6.56 ft

Surface area = 13,454.72 sq ft

Volume ~= 88,263 cu ft

~= 660,253.09 gallons of water

That's about 5,511,556 lbs (2755.8 tons) of water.

Most lap pools are 25 yards long. High-level college swim meets in the U.S. use Olympic size (50 meters), and lower-level meets use 25 yards.

An Olympic size swimming pool is the type of pool used in the Olympic Games. The size of the pool is commonly used to define the size of other objects, or to explain how much water is in a particular location. The FINA specifications for an Olympic pool are as follows:

Length: 50 m
Width: 25 m
Number of lanes: 8
Lane width: 2.5 m
Water temperature: 25 °C - 28°C
Light intensity: >1500 lux
Depth: 2.0 m minimum

There must be two spaces 2.5 m wide outside lanes 1 and 8 (in effect, two empty lanes). Also, the 50 metres length must be between the touch pads, if they are used.
