Expungement laws vary from state to state, you should consult with a lawyer that knows the expungement law in your jurisdiction. The type of expungement that will apply in your case will depend upon whether you were a juvenile or an adult at the time of the conviction; whether the conviction was for a misdemeanor or a felony; and whether you were placed on probation or went to state prison as part of your punishment.

Expungement will usually require a lawyer to draft a motion (a formal legal document asking the court to take a particular action). The expungement motion will be filed with the court that sentenced you, and will also have to be served on the prosecutor and, in some cases, the probation department. To get an Order of Expungement, the court must be convinced that you have led an honest and upright life, and the interests of justice would be served by granting the request.

So, the requirements vary, you will need a lawyer and you must have been a good boy since the original arrest, and you will most likely need to appear in court.

Best way to get "exsponged?" Go to another doctor and have it removed, then sue the first one for malpractice! Lol. Oh, and why the hell does anyone "need" a firearm in their truck? What, you gonna shoot that flat tire?

What is an illegal firearm exactly? Was it a sawed-off shotgun?
Was it just a gun that you had?
Here in West Virginia you can own a lot of different types of guns.
To get it expunged would require a trip to a judge and a lawyers fee most likely.

If you were arrested under a felony then there is no way to get that remove. But if you were arrested under an misdemeanor then hires an lawyer and for a couple of hundred dollars it will disappear.

go down to the court house and ask for the paper work to expunge it...plea with how good your behavior has been and show your record of how you are now a model citizen...there is a fee involved as well. If the judge agrees they will seal the record.

IMO, I think that if you cannot spell expunged or cannot use spell check, then you should not be allowed to have your criminal record cleared.
