He does have the skin disease vittiligo. All of the medications he took did not work on him. I think he just used something to progress the fading of pigmentation so that he wouldn't look like a brown and white freak...I don't think he knew what he was getting himself into.

I believe he paid someone big for a "formula" to make his skin light.Like to a surgeon or something.I think Michael Jackson did it impulsively out of low self-esteem.I think he looked cute as a real looking black man though.

He has a disease called Vitiligo which causes his skin to lose pigment! My hubby has had a mild case of it!

He bleached it. He claimes he had blotchey skin disease. But I don't recall any of the other Jackson's having it. So who knows.

Some say he made it lighter by bathing in pure Evian water everyday... Don't know if that would do anything though - water is water, imho. Maybe he mixed in some bleach???? Beat's me.

i think he bleached becasue he did not like his face casue in the movie he had alot of stuff worng with his face. so i guess he bleached it
