I won the item and paid for it immediately at 10:25am yesterday morning. I have emailed the seller and let them know I paid and asked when the item would be sent and I have not gotten a response.

How long should I wait?

I would wait at least a couple of days, not all sellers reply right away to emails on eBay. Next I would wait until you should have received your item, then send another email to the seller. If no response then you should report the seller. Don't base reporting the seller on the fact that there was no response to your email.

A whole lot longer than the next day. Are you crazy? Thats a good wayt o get yourself negative feedback and have a very short tenure on eBay. Give them at least a week. Just pay with a credit card, and you will be protected, as if your item doesnt come, you can just file for a chargeback with them and get the money back no problem. Dont be all psycho harrassing people though, that doesnt tend to go over well- only start harrassing after you have given a resonable amount of time for the item to show up, which is minimum of 1 week.

You need to give them time to get back on the computer and check their email. Sometimes people have other things going on in their lives. But I'd say that after 7 days, if you still have not received an answer from the person OR received the item, then make a claim with Ebay.

You will get a conformation email from the seller soon. MAny sellers have lots of email and orders to sort through. Your payment will post and then they will send the item. Dont worry. I have never received something from ebay in less than 7 days. It takes time. Make sure you always try to communicate with the seller because if you report that person for nothing, it will look bad on you.

some sellers never contact you to tell you they've shipped your item. they just ship it and before you know it you have it at your door. reread the auction to see if they specify that they only ship on certain days and also check their shipping method such as priority, express, etc.... i think you should wait, like if you paid for 3-5 day shipping, wait those days out, and try contacting them again. if they don't get back to you then, email them and tell them that you're going to file an "item not received" against them, wait a day or so for a response and if still nothing, then go and actually file it. leaving negative feedback should be a last resort.

The seller may not respond at all, although most usually tell you when they ship an item. Give it a week or so to receive the item, if domestic, or 2 weeks international. This doesn;t happen overnight.

I would wait about 4 more days. Then email the seller back every few days. If you don't see it after 30 days then file a clamin with ebay. They are pretty good about helping you get your money back. I have had a few erouneous transactions and was able to get my money returned.

Just wait til you get the item soon. If you dont get it you'll still ahve to wait about 30 days til you can report the guy on ebay. So it is also stated on ebay somewhere too.
