well I am a writer and I would say that I think you should first make a outline then try to write a first draft. It is always hard to start but you remember you can always change the begining at anytime. Good luck!

A Good Idea!

But did you do anything different or just wakeup to sleepdown job.

It will be good to write a book if you have done some thing interesting which other did not do. Only then its worth the effort.
People will like to read what is not usual.

Don't ever think that your ideas are dumb. And don't let your thoughts shrink, just let them grow and make them true. I'm also a writer and what ever writer thinks is good for a topic of a book, just write and keep writing. Who knows, you'll be the next J.K Rowlings. Right?

Like the Nike thing said--just do it--I did. I was published and did a book tour--great experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a teacher; you won't get rich.

If you'd like, contact me at zwell@zoomnet.net---I'll try to guide you. Please put the words "Yahoo book" in the subject line--I delete a lot of mail if I don't recognize it.

good decision...honestly write it... be sure not to plgiarize..read it before ur well wishers..frends and relatives...ask abt their opinion...then approach a publishing house...u may be sent back..as they always do that with rookies...but dont be disheartened...approach many of them...u will find ur dream come true...only thing is that if u r honest and fruitful in ur attempt ..dont lose heart

Can't really tell you until I have seen a chapter or two. Write them and send them to me.

If you are going to be edited, you need to accept criticism, and I assume you are aware of that...
