ok, ok....we all love Taylor Ricks and his Joe Cocker's style, but Chris has a fantastic voice, it was very sad to see he go, i think he deserved to win. And also Elliot Yammin, I think he should at least have been in the final!

Do not believe the show is fair. I think it started out that way, 5 years ago. Don't think it is like that today. First they really dont get a choice of song. They are given a list to choose from. Funny that Simon commented that someone from the south would win. Also find it strange that 1 guy and 1 girl ended the finals. Which they have been trying to do since Kelly and Justin. The male talent this year was heads and shoulders above the women. It just doesn't add up.

Its a question that has been asked so many times...
To be honest the only real way we will ever know iis if we stay backstage or something or behindthe scenes and monitor everything or confront the creator and tell him to admit it lol.
About Chris the whole world id dissapointed he didnt win when he did deserve it,what can i say who knows if it was really the way America voted or whether it was really rigged.I dont think we'll ever get to know..Maybe like when we die someday and we get into heaven that is if we get into heaven we might find out there lol.
But then there is the question on why would American Idol be rigged i mean by America chosing the winner the success rate of the winner is higher and the profits for the label is higher so why would they need to rig it.I do think Season 2 was rigged i mean we havent heard of Rubern Studerd in so along time where as Clay is going steady but strong,they say becuase he was gay they didnt want him crowned AI..yeah right sheesh...
Who knows Im sure no one here will u the correct answer unless simon cowell or simon fuller comes and answers lol but yeah CHRIS SHOULD HAVE WON AND MADE AMERICA AND THE WORLD PROUD....I KNOW....

I loved Chris, and personally I think he should have one as well. Not to take anything away from Taylor, but a friends mom said that American Idol was the only way Taylor could become famous. Chris is talented and he's going to be successful with or without American Idol. We have not seen the last of him!

I was extremely surprised that Chris and Elliot left. I liked Elliot. Chris was a real cutie. But American Idol always surprises us with shocking eliminations. I liked this season better. I am glad Taylor 'soul patrol'Hicks won.

I think Taylor is a great singer. But I was really disappointed when Kathryn McPhee won over Chris. He was the best out of the ten left in the competition.
You could clearly see he was very surprised he got eliminated instead of Kathryn. She know she should have been gone weeks before Chris ever did.

I don't care that American Idol ended almost a month ago. I'm still extremely mad about Taylor winning. I agree that Chris should have won, hands down. I can't picture Taylor going anywhere and people listening to his cd. It's not true that the winners don't go anywhere Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have made it big....but I'm guessing Taylor won't. and That Chris will be bigger than him and prove that he should have won American Idol. SCREW AMERICAN IDOL!

I really think Taylor Hicks deserved to win compared to Katherine McPhee. I mean, she forgot the words not two weeks before the final, and that's pretty bad. I thought Chris would win as well, but I think everyone thought he'd win so no one bothered to vote for him thinking he was safe. But I think he'll be able to go his own way and do better than he would've ever done as the Idol.

Taylor probably won to get a little older crowd to watch. He looks and sings like an older crowd. Probably for the ratings. Though he is a good singer. Chris will probably end up with a recording contract anyway.

BTW...it's Taylor Hicks. I think Chris should have won and fully believe it was fixed when he got voted off. That's ok, Chris will be a success on his own anyway.
