People that bring drama to the office do it, because others are allowing it. When they are standing their laying all their drama on the table, you are eating it up. So they are getting attention from it. They will continue to do it until they are no longer getting the response they desire. Have a great day.

Most people spend a majority of their lives in the workplace. This opens up a great window of oppurtunity to vent their frustrations and open up a little bit with their co-workers. I understand how frustrating this can be for others though, and how it may make life kind of a pain at times. But remember this: If it don't apply, let it fly. If she's not aiming point blank directly at you, ask yourself it really effects your daily life. Just a thought though... Hope this helps some

Some people are very sheltered. Some feel the need to let it out at the office with the people you spend most of your days with. It can be comforting for them, but others just like the attention.

People always have problems and need help fixing them. They usually want to get opinions before they make a decison. Of course people are too open with others and need to be careful who they tell their business to.

Do you work in my office? My coworker has called home three times in two hours. For a man, this is ridiculous.
Why do they do this? Sometimes it is all about attention and being a drama queen, even when it isn't an appropriate time. For my coworker, it is because his wife should be working and he should be at home. He cares nothing about his career.

Some people just need some where to vent. If they can't do this at home, why not share it with the closest they have to friends. It's pretty pathetic if you ask me. Just another way to open themselves up to more heartache when the rumors start to surface about them. You've got the right I idea, keep it to yourself.

Most of this is because they are very self centered and maybe don't know how to converse because they have no real interests in life.
When you don't want them talking to you about it simply say to them that is your personal business and I am not comfortable hearing it.
That should take care of it.

Because that's what some people do. Others keep it to themselves. A happy medium is a hard place to find.

the only reason why they do this is because they're either looking
for attention or they simply dont have anything better to do than let other people solve their problems for them!
