Yes, several things, especially if they didn't work or perform like they were supposed to. I don't like throwing money away; I work too hard for it.

o yah it was kinda funny actually.... I needed a dress for a party but I was kind of tight on money at the time.... So i went to the store to see what I could find.... After looking in BCBG (im a splurger)....I found this gorgeous dress midnight blue dress but it was 445 dollars!!! so I bought the dress and wore it to the occasion. I had it all planned out that the next day I would return the dress. well the store clerk was almost done with the returning process when she found a huge stain on it!!!!!! it was the size of a football right on the butt! I was so embarrassed I never went back to that store again....

yeah, when it broke, but when it was the right time frame.
People wonder why things cost so much: it is when people buy things just for the heck of it and they use it and they return it because it fulfilled their need at the time.
As people we waste so much stuff and it seems to me that the people who complain about the environment the most are the ones who do just that; they buy and just return it and make more waste.
Everything that is return does not go back on the shelf and wait for the next person to buy it, especially if it has been used.
Everyone wants the planet to be free of trash but how can we when everyone thinks of everything they buy as being disposable?
So the next time you go and buy something with the intention of returning because you just needed for that party or short trip to Florida remember that over filled landfill that keeps us from enjoying our planet.
Besides it raises the cost on all goods we buy.

To be honest, yes I have. I have worked on a number of films with very limited budgets so have returned items used for props on a few occasions. I have always been careful to take care of them and I don't think I've ever returned something damaged.

No, but my mother is the return queen and has been known to return things for a full refund a year after she's purchased it.

Yes, several times.
The most notable was a tin opener, the handle of which came off on first use. I refused the initial offer of a replacement (I felt the tin opener to be so shoddy that I even refused a replacement) and asked for a refund which I was legally entitled to (Sale of Goods Act), and which I got.

no but one time i had my friend buy a router for my computer and i stayed in the car cuz it wouldnt take long. so he went and bought this 60 dollar router and then he brought it back to the car and asked me which wireless card he needed and i pointed it out to him. he left the box in the car and went back into the store, he grabbed another box and said to the cashier "i just bought one of these and i need the card for it too." so the cashier go the right card and gave him the new box and a new wireless card. but he didnt make him pay for the new box. so we returned it. so what would have costed 120 dollars cost us only 60 :D
