i've been able to do it since i was 10,but don't know anyone else who can.is there any practical use for it?

All over the world at this moment are people sitting at their computers trying to touch their eyebrows with their tongues!!!! Impossible I say!!! I want evidence!!

Nope it's not really normal, but than normal is a rather narrow street and I haven't met any normal people so far in my 37 years of life.
We all live with our oddities and handicaps.
Those who seem normal have found ways to deal with their oddities and handicaps.
I say if it doesn't hurt or bother you don't have anything done.

yes that is perfectly normal for either a circus act or a person who can unattach their tongue from their mouth at a whim
