well I am muslim so i know what u are talking about. the parents need to get together and really get to know each other. Make the parents think that you are a virgin and you are willing to go half way with them. if nothing works get married any ways....muslim parents are really hard headed!

hahahaha... sorry i shouldn't laugh.. well i can tell u one thing for sure. neither his parents nor urs r gonna be "convinced".... only option (it happened with my cousin.. and hey, even with shahrukh khan!) is to get married, and tell them the news. they probably won't wanna know either of you for a while, but they will come around. or then.... u can let them know and say you won't be marrying anyone but the guy... (same goes for him) and wait till they give in... be it months or years.... however, if you really wanna do this beyond all odds, i really think the 1st option is quick and easy

you know that it is very difficult , i think you should have patience ,if you live in the apartment with your parents then u should try to get your own apartment first. or live with one of your friends . share room . anything.b'coz life is too tricky. i'm in love too. and the guy i'm in love with is totally different from my culture. he says that he loves me. and also he says come and stay at my home. but u know i trust him. but still to tell you the truth you have to have your savings, so if one day god forbid, because mens are like that once they get their own women ,later on they look outside also.well it depends. but in muslim culture for sure its allowed to have 4 marriages. so, at last i willl tell you that if you trust him more than yourself , then go ahead. but doesn't think that ur parents are against you ,;they only want the best for you , and would never want you suffer for anything.

you should go ahead and get married if you are really in love and you know you could get along without your parents' support, then invite your parents to the wedding, if they really llove you, they will accept the invitation and support you. if they don't, then you should move on with out them, but if they regret it later and say sorry and want to be part of your life, don't refuse to let them in!
