could be a couple of reasons. you haven't been in it for a while and they locked you out. you are using wrong address(case sensitive?)call them by phone,or create another address from another provider to email and receive answer.

If you're using Yahoo Email maybe you better scan your computer for that virus that's out there called Yamanner.

make sure that you are not using the caps lock function on your keyboard and that you are using the correct id and password. You can also select the forgot password option

what email server are u using? if its yahoo make sure u login and pw is right i believe its case sensitive
