Slim... USA is never good at football. I mean, Americans call things they play with their feet "soccer", and things they play with their hands "football". And they just lost 3-0 to Czech Republic, which isn't really a brilliant team.
And Italy may not be the best few teams, but they definitely got enough potential. Their performance against Ghana is quite good.

They wont do it, last world cup was a freak but now FIFA has imposed a break for all major domestic leagues, meaning that USA will definately lose, especially after the way they played against Czech Republic.

doubt it, italy is one of the best teams around right now....even if they did...the US would then have to go on and play Brazil....the likelihood that they would beat Brazil is even smaller
