You dont say where you are , but if its the UK then think about Magners and Strongbow, suddenly everyone seems to be drinking cider!

It is nice though, but think about them, rebranding and repackaging a product that no one really wante, then advertising and making loads!

coca cola is the best in the world. Their extension strategies are amazing and clever. think about lime coke, diet coke, caffeine free coke etc. Also their promotion is never ending, buy one get one free, 25% extra, world cup competitions etc. They sponsor major world events, olympics and the world cup for example, and are the most recognisable brand in the world. However, even coke can get it wrong! In the 1980s they changed the formula, marketed the new taste in coke and suffered huge USA backlash. if you are looking for 4 Ps, product life cycle, above or below the line examples coke does it all.
