I think you did her a favour!! Hope when you grow up a bit you learn to treat your next girlfriend with a bit of respect.

No! NO NO NO!!!

(I'm assuming you're not having a relationship with her exclusively on text messages...i.e. that you see her in person too)

It is disrespecful and unkind.

Plus it would get around that you were not brave enough to face her, and that's not a goor rep to have.

This is the last act of kindness you'll have to do if you really want to dump her.

Only if you are 12 years old!

Seriously, she deserves the consideration of you actually telling her to her face. Text is the coward's way out.

i know i should say "no", but when my boyfriend dumped me face-to-face at work, then i wished he had done it by text because then everyone wouldn't have seen me crying.

You could.
But, doesn't she deserve for you to tell her personally?
If it is a case of avoiding the confrontation, pick a place that is not so populated and you have the ability to walk away.

Its not the best thing to do but it depends on the circumstances. If she's avoiding you (not answering calls etc) then it is the only option really.

No! Talk to her face. That is a cowards way out, and will cause her more pain than if you meet her face to face, and gently let her down.

Well, it's not very respectful, but depending on your motives and reasons, it might be the best way for the both of you. Pray about it, and see where God takes you.

Only if you like being tacky. Imagine if someone were to dump you like that. Just like "dear John" letters... ... it leaves one feeling helpless and invalidates their feelings.

Seems a bit cowardly... Why can't you talk to your girl in person?

...You'll probably both be happier down the line if you do it with honor.
