It will kill you PC as soon as you turn it off. The processor will reroute its power connections and cause it to short out. There will be a small explosion when this happens and a brief fire. Be sure to have an extinguisher handy. Sorry about your PC dude. Hope you can buy a new one soon. See ya...

Since you opened it, it has already sent emails to everyone in your address book infecting them. It has also probably already sent sensitive information from your computer to its webpage, and you are compromised. Stay off line until you get it fixed. change your passwords or it can take over various programs.
If you haven't already done so, run a scan of your system. Use your anti-virus program, and also run a web based one after you have used your local one.
Yahoo!, affected by this, says: The Sunnyvale, California-based company advised users to update virus and firewall software on their computers and to block any e-mail sent from the address av3@yahoo.com.
Yahoo spokeswoman Kelley Podboy said in a statement:"We have taken steps to resolve the issue and protect our users from further attacks of this worm".
Yamanner, first detected by Yahoo and major computer anti-virus software makers earlier on Monday, was ranked as having a low threat level by Trend Micro Inc. and McAfee Inc.
OK, you've learned a valuable lesson now. DO NOT open emails with attachments from unknown sources. even if it's someone you know, it's a good idea to send that person an email and ask "Did you send this?"

I don't know about a new virus that is attacking Yahoo, of course, there are a lot of viruses floating around out there, so I may have just missed it. Either way go find yourself a free antivirus program like Avast, http://www.avast.com/ or AVG Free, http://www.free.grisoft.com or Anti-Vir, http://www.free-av.com/ and run the scanner. But, if you want to make sure that your PC is absolutely cleaned of any viruses, continue reading.
Once you have installed ONE and ONLY ONE of the above programs, do the following (optional). Reboot your PC in safemode by either pressing F8 while it starts booting or go to Start > Run > type msconfig and press enter and go to the BOOT.INI tab and check the Safeboot option. You will now be running in Safemode with essential drivers and services only. Run one of the anti-virus scanners. Once it has finished (and cleaned any infected files) you may return to normal mode, follow the reverse of the above to get back to normal mode.
While you're at it run some spyware scanners as well:
http://www.safer-networking.org/
http://www.lavasoft.com/
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/
and Windows Defender (you can use Yahoo to find that).

First of all you have my sympathy but WHY did you let your Norton's expire? Not good. You will no doubt lose everything--I did a couple years ago even though I had Norton anti-virus. I didn't have the firewall--my mistake.
