Because it cost the BBC more money to show the football & the viewing figures will always be higher. Anyway Wimbledon hasn't started yet, the tennis currently being show on the BBC is the Stella Artois tournament from The Queens Club.

because the football season ends before the tennis starts at wimbledon football is a winter game tennis is a summer game as easy as that no other stupid reason

numbers dont lie:: lets give an ex for it. lets say the number of tennis lovers around the world is X, then the football lovers around the world is 10X thats why!! plus, you can watch wimbeldon every year but world cup is held in every 4 years.

because otherwise noone in London would goto the tournament, they would stay at home to watch the football, duh!
