There are two types of password in a computer basically.If you have forgotten your setup password then you can deactivate it by re-placing the jumper of your motherboard which is near your motherboard battery.But if it is your system password then you may have to reload the OS.

There are programs available for example on ebay which will let you reset your password or reinstall windows though doing the latter you will lose all of your files etc.
