Freeze Frame" (1979) has Wile E. Chase Road Runner into a snowscape,
and "Soup or Sonic" (1980) has the Coyote actually catch the Road Runner...although he is made miniature and the road runner enormous!

it is not real though.

I have always watched the road runner and enjoyed seeing him honk and then outrun the coyote. Never have I heard about a successful capture of the road runner by Wily Coyote. I don't know if the Acme Company is real, but it was and is a part of a cartoon. You pretty much can draw your own conclusions about this. It is very nice to see something like this as it is magnificent entertainment. If the road runner had the capacity to pray, he would go to Romans 8:31. It reads like this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" Peace and God Bless.

The quote below is taken from the third link. As far as ACME being a real company please refer to the other links.

Despite numerous clever attempts, the coyote never catches or kills the Road Runner. (Although The Solid Tin Coyote does nab the roadrunner, he throws the coyote into his cavernous mouth following the "EAT, STUPID" command, and in Soup or Sonic, after running in and out of pipes that would magically re size the pair, the coyote is getting ready to eat the Road Runner, when he suddenly realizes that he is miniature and his prey is gigantic, to which he then looks at the camera and holds up the signs "All right, wise guys, you always wanted me to catch him - now what do I do?")

I think he did one time, but the roadrunner escaped.

As for ACME being a real company, think about this, if everything you buy from ACME blew up in your face, didn't work when you wanted it too, or worked at the wrong time, a company like that for real would have lawsuits galore, not to mention high insurance costs.

But if any company is named ACME, it would be on a local level selling everything from tools to ice cream.

No he has never caught him. Where would the fun in that be? Its all about the chase. And there a few company's out there called ACME but none of them sell catapults. Funny huh.

yes, there was a TV special where he did.. but he had shrunk himself so small, that he was just holding on to his ankle and there was nothing he could do about it.

And I am sure there is a company out there called ACME...look for it on google, I am sure there is one. Doubt they will ship you an anvil in the desert, though... or a pile of bird seed.

There was supposedly an episode of the sort, but was later scrapped before it aired.

Not to my knowledge is ACME real
