I think a city that would harbor illegal aliens would not be a city I would chose to shop in. I also feel this would create a dangerous place and crime rates would rise

look, i grew up in los angeles & have lived in austin texas for the last 20 years. in every city theres a 'china town', 'little mexico', ect. the mexican culture produces goods that enich the community. they are notorious for policing themselves. like any culture, theres always a group that ruins it for the passive. in the usa, policing is insisted upon the state leaving no real enforcement to the neighborhoods out of reach. the only way is for the locals to police themselves, not the government.

How does the city of Burlington plan to pay for municipal services? Illegals do not contribute as much to the economy as citizens. Soon, the legal citizens of Burlington will find that their local taxes have gone up to pay for all the services that are used by the illegals.
In addition, it is a crime to knowingly harbor illegal immigrants. The city leaders want to be known as criminals? That's wrong.
As a legal citizen, I wouldn't want to live there.

Isn't Burlington a city that's big in the garment business? If so, yes, they are looking for a hands-off approach so they can have cheap labor. If the House bill is approved, all police departments in the U.S. will have to cooperate in finding illegals, and Burlington will have to comply and not become a sanctuary

I can't imagine why they would want to do that. Vermont is such a beautiful state. How would it benefit them to do this? I hope the people planning such a sanctuary get voted out. It violates our laws to allow illegals to remain here.

illegals will be academic once the us joins the north american union, with canada and mexico.that's why the president has laid out all these distraction like gay marriage, and now using anne coulter to stir and divide the country deeper, so he can get us into the north american union with out congress voting on it
