This commercial is really old, from my local Humane Society back in 1988

It showed this dog having a bunch of fun all day long with his elderly male owner... going for walks in the park, sitting by his side while he played checkers with a friend, just accompanying this old man through the day, until he finally laid down to sleep next to the old man's bed on a comfy cushion.

Then the dog wakes up alone on a concrete floor in the dark - at the shelter. It was to show that just because a dog is not a puppy anymore, doesn't mean he is a behavioral problem, he could be a well trained dog who lost his owner.

That commercial killed me because days prior, my parents made me take my dog to the shelter because my mom didn't want her around anymore. I was just a kid, and I hated the thought of my girl being alone in a cage like that. I called the shelter and they said she was adopted in 3 days. But that commercial still kills me... and now I volunteer at the local shelter, helping them find homes for dogs just like her.

I saw this commercial once and can't remember what it was even for, but it is set in an airport. All you can see are passengers walking and sitting around, nothing else. Suddenly, people start clapping and they cut to a group of soilders walking through the airport. I cried like a little girl, actually, I got a cold chill just telling you about it.

The claritin (allergy medicine) commercial with that nail dragging, ear piercing high pitched squeal and that infernal off key guitar playing. The commercial itself is rather loud and gives me a migraine. I would never use their product because of this and I tell all my friends and family to boycott them too. It gives me way more than one tear-tears is more like it!!

The Sylvan Learning Center commercial where the boy gives his mother his report card during her birthday cake. It is the expressions on the mother's face about how proud she is with her son.

The jones, showing pictures of starving children all over the world, and certain children laying on dirt floors with flies hanging around their eyes waiting for them to die, due to malnurishment in their tiny little bodies. Just makes you totally sick inside thinking this happens everyday, loosing children to poverty, they cant afford any type of care, so they die.
