I don't think so, in religious views it's typically defined between a man and a woman. Legal wise it's been defined as between 2 people in some states, giving the rights for gay marriage. I have never heard of a man having 2 wives, personally it sounds like an odd idea to me. Why would a wife want to be one of two in a relationship and why would a man feel reason to have two wives. If I flipped it around I could never picture a situation with having two husbands, issues of jealousy and personal feelings would come into play.

No. There is no state in the US where three people can legally marry. Utah was the last state that gave up legal polygamy under pressure from the federal government. In order to become a US state, Utah had to make it illegal.
Yes, there are some fringe groups that practice polygamy, but they are not legally married.

there is no way u can make me belive that a well rounded mature woman would lower herself purposely and settle for a palygamists relationship u or whoever u r talking about has an issue and u should seek professional help b4 ruining your life you should love your self more than that if the only man you think u can have is attached to another woman the he is not for u or her 4 that matter . a man will only do what is allowed . u r better than that and if you dont know that it is time for u 2 find out. and i mean this with the most sincere heart

Centered & Practiced largely in UTAH the Mormon Religion with Smith preaching "extra stuff" encouraged peeps to even think about polygamy and all of the wonderful children and wives they could have. Not to mention working their behinds off to keep from poverty. Yet much differant than a typical American married couple with kids. Your concern: Is this legal? NO. Lust and greed leads to anger. Are you thinking you do not have the jealous gene? If your a human being that situation could get really out of hand.

No... not legally. Utah and parts of Nevada have communities where it is practiced, but still follow the laws of only having one "wife"....the others that are also considered "wives" live in the same house, but are not legally married to the same man.

In Utah there are several polygamist communities...while they are not technically legal, the law allows it for the most part because the polygamists pretty much stay within their own communities....do a search for Utah polygamists and you will probably be able to find more information on this situation.....I have one question though....I have a hard enough time keeping one woman happy...Why in Gods name do you want twice the bitching? Kidding...lol...good luck bro!

Not that I am aware of. Not yet anyway. I would say we are better off to leave that alone since one man and one woman is plenty on our plate right?
Please don't spread this around too much. It might give some of these sickos some ideas.
