As we see more and more women driving semi-trucks it seems that there are more and more women feeling guilty or going off with other people to start new relationships. Why can't the stay at home man support his woman by making it easier for her to go to work. Women have stayed at home and taken care of the house and such for years. Are there any men out there taking care of a woman drivers home and helping her long distance.

Being a truck driver on and off for 23 yrs. (currently not driving) it is still in my blood and always will be. The only advice I can offer is either be young enough not to have children or already have them grown up and gone . ( This is going to be true for both sexes) You are going feel guility no matter what if your children are at home. My Dad( who drove for 28 years )offered up this advice...It is a pretty good living ..but aint no life!

I drove for 25 years and felt the guilt every time I left the family for 1-2 weeks
It's only human nature to feel this way.

I dont think that they should feel guilty and then men at home should have the self control not to "chum" while the woman is gone making $$$$.
