Canadians are actually very conservative in some things but try to follow a social structure of equality, fairness, and duty.
With things such as 'universal healthcare' they recognize that it is better for society as a whole to have a healthy society.
They recognize that society has a duty to take care of its elderly.
They recognize that giving gay ppl the option of a union is a very moral thing to do by not oppressing that small portion of society.
In the USA, any comments about entitlements or gay rights then suddenly you are being called a liberal. The fact of the matter is both of those things have a higher purpose. The ignorant can't see the greater purpose of these things that result in a healthier society because they tend to be of lower-mentality and easily manipulated by propaganda... unfortunately.

No,we are not all Liberal,in fact most Canadains hate the Liberal Party,It's the French that out number the english half of Canada,therefore we get a frenchman running a British Colony?

Well I can agree to them being more liberal then this country. I won't be calling them any more names as it is their choice to be what is stupid in my opinion.

How can you pass judgment on peoples from other countries? They live their own lives in their own manner. No wonder there are so many people on Y'Answers who ask Q's about global hatred and Americans.
