go to a professional driving school. Not the ones you go to when you start to learn to drive, but a performance driving school. Look on the net... Many there in many major cities.

racing schools are a good way.....racing games are better because they are cheaper. Both will help you to learn throttle control and braking control. They will both become smoother. Also, you're steadiness of the wheel will be improved.
Plain ole driving classes won't teach you these things.

You either have aptitude - or you don't. From your question, I guess the latter and suggest you do not drive.
"Making a car move" and "driving" are different things; it takes over 100,000 miles of motoring experience to be considered a "driver"

Just practice as much as you can on different contexts and terrains. Depends on where you want to do most of your driving. Alternatively, try discussing this with your local Automobile Association instructors and see what packages they have on this.

push your limits (when its safe to), also know your cars limits. knowing the limitations of your vehicle is very important. test your skills in an open parking lot at 2am, things like that.
