Because society keeps making things faster and faster and keeps giving promises of instant results so we end up having higher and higher expectations and when things don't go as fast as our expectations people get frustrated and impatient. People I think need to be retaught how to relax.

If you have noticed, we have steadily gone from the caveman days of watching the sun to becoming a solely time-based society. Everything we do in our everyday lives is based on this measurement we created thousands of years ago and still use to this very day. I believe when such a thing becomes out of our control (waiting in lines, traffic, etc.) it brings upon stress to the individual, thus creating an "impatience" because he/she wishes to reach his/her final destination during a certain measurement of time.

Because people are bastards and we are so use to technology advancing and things are becoming easier to do so when something is "slow" we are impatient. I think we just need to enjoy life and try not to be on the move all the time. Resting is great for the body.

I don't get impatient waiting on certain things.
I do not have patience for stupid people.
I do not have patience for the moron at the traffic light who will not go because they are too wrapped up on their cell phone.
I do not have patience for the idiot in line who is never prepared.
And I absolutely do not have patience for people who just do not use the common sense God gave them!

Society has not lost patience, only certain section of people lost patience and it is the duty of the remaining section to change impatient people.
