There's nothing wrong with liking both genders. Recent scientific studies have shown people are born with predispositions towards being straight, bisexual or homosexual. Its important for you to explore these feelings. Dont attempt to hide them inside, or lay lies on top to make it go away. A few years ago there was a study done in England's mental wards and they found a significant portion of patients had had bisexual tendencies that were suppressed. Dont do that to yourself.

Some of it may be that even though you are gay, you have been taught by society that you should be with females and so your mind is kinda programmed for them too. You would be surprised at how much society can mold a person and influence thier lives. I am a straight female, but Have always been quite curious about being with another female. I have always been a tom-boy and have short hair and all that but I don't see myself being with another female as a permanent thing, ya know? There are alot of people in your situatioon. Just do some serious thinking about the future. Where do you picture your self in 10 years and can you see yourself being with another man or a woman? Hey, If you can see it either way then just think, you have twice the availability as the average person. Just be patient and it will all work out. Don't let other people influence your ultimate decision. I will pray for your mind to clear. Good Luck.

One of the things that young people today don't seem to understand is what makes them have a certain sexual orientation. First one needs to know about physiological sexual attraction sensations/feelings and where they occur in the body. For guys, the area where they are felt are below-the-waist, behind-behind-the-public-bone, in-the-area-of the-prostate (that's the male internal sex organ that is below the bladder). If a guy has those feelings directed toward some guys only and not toward girls at all, he is more than likely excusively homosexual in his sexual orientation. If the guy has them toward both guys and girls, his sexual orientation is bisexual.

I'd have to agree that this an answer you need to find for yourself... just keep in mind that every major association of physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers and any other type of health professional recognizes homosexuality as a characteristic that is either inborn or develops at a very early age - so if you think you are gay, don't listen to the people above telling you to try to block that out... it doesn't work.

Bro, you are going through some serious stuff. As a guy, we are made to desire the opposite sex, but some times, we look upon the same sex, that is when your mind starts playing with you. You have to come under control of your thoughts, you were not made for same sex type of things, even though the world says that you are. Sure, you are free to choose for your self, whom you desire, but God wants you to know that He has a special person for you, and that person is a woman. Good luck man and God Bless...

of course we can't control who or what we desire. it is simply there.
you can control what you do with it. you can deny that those feelings exist and cause yourself alot of pain or suffering. or you can indulge every desire you have, and also cause yourself a lot of pain or suffering.
better yet, wait to find someone (note ONE) who you really like, and be open to that person being a guy or a girl. when you meet that person, it won't make you straight or gay (it is not so easy) but it will help you figure out what you want for your life. Good luck.

It's ok to like guys as well as girls, as long as you don't fantasize about boning a guy in the you know where. Save that for the girls!
