Are you ashamed that they are so flagrant in their hatred?
---------------------------
No - though, I don't think they are really hateful. They don't like the Bush Administration. You don't like them.....so I guess it's pretty fitting to call your little diatribe pretty hateful in itself. Much like the women you are denouncing. Birds of a feather!! Might want to look at yourself and your hypocrisy.
Don't you wish that this talented group would just keep their mouths shut when it comes to politics.
--------------------------
No - they are Americans, just like the rest of us. You get to voice your opinion about politics....so can they. Just like you have the right to say that you hate them. (Note my running point here.......how hateful you are being???)
I used to like them, but now I can't even listen because of their self important attitudes and shameless opinions. Just keep it to yourself.
----------------------------
Why are you still talking about them? lol - that's the whole point......you guys hate them so much, you give them so much publicity with the controversy. That's why their album is number one on the charts.
They are so stupid that they forget that 50% of their audience, probably more because country music fans are mostly republicans, voted for the man that they are ashamed of?
--------------------------
I don't think they really care as they are quite defiant in their views. And good for them......for the crap they caught for speaking up....and death threats and backlash - I'd be afraid of my own fans.
I agree with what they have to say...but that doesn't mean I like their music!! ;-p
Why are YOU so flagrant in your hatred!

No. Last I checked everyone has a right to state their opinion. And you have a right not to like it or support them.
Rush L. gives me bird flu, but he has a right to say what he wants, and hey, I can just change the station. Great country in which we live!
I'm not a fan of their music, doubt I'll ever buy any, but I respect them for not backing down... even though it's costing them. Not a lot of people do that.

I'm proud they had the courage to speak out. A lot of the republicans who voted for Bush are now ashamed of him or are in denial. He is the worst president I have seen since Nixon. Another rouge republican.
People who hate George don't hate America. Just the bad leadership. George isn't a typical American.

I think their (political) mouths have relegated them to (musical) mediocracy. I'm not a Dixie Chicks fan, but my sense of it is, they used to be really popular but their popularity decreased in seemingly direct proportion to the increased expression of thier "flagrant hatred," as you call it. It is bad enough that they have become mere mouthpieces for the liberal media, but if I were the liberal media, I would have tapped spokeswomen that at least sounded intelligent/informed in their criticism.

Yes they do! Unfortunately it is their right to speak out however they choose and unfortunately young men and women have died so they can have that right!
Personally, I think we should give the Dixie Twits to Canada or France!! They can team up with Johnny Depp and a few of the others that hate the USA!

Dixie Skanks are no more than that. I agree with you 100%. Since their last album, ( their recently made one) they had all kinds of crap in there about OUR country. If they seem to hate the good ole USA as much as they say they do, why dont they leave?

I try to keep politics out of entertainment. I like entertainers who entertain me, and I don't listen to their politics. I happen to like the Dixie Chicks' music, but I can't stand their politics. I keep them separate.

ok yeah they have the right to speak their minds... no they dont have the right to use a concert as a political forum... people didnt go to that concert for an anti bush rally.seriously she used her power as a performer to try and sway people against the government even if just a little bit and i think that is reprehensible!
