Flanders is the name given to an area of Belgium. It was the scene of slaughter in WW1, and many visitors come to visit the battlefields and war cemetaries.
But there is more to see with historic and beautiful towns, plus excelent Belgium beer to imbibe and rich food to help soak up the beer.
The Flanders tourist board has a website with details of the attractions and what's one here - http://www.visitflanders.co.uk/

Flanders can be found in Springfield, next door to the famous Simpson family.
Ned Flanders is the Simpsons' sometimes-sickeningly cheerful next-door nieghbor. His wife, Maude Flanders, and his two sons, Rod and Todd Flanders, are the perfect "Good Christian" family, but Ned is hated by Homer Simpson out of jealousy, and by Reverend Lovejoy, because of Ned's non-stop requests for guidance. He is known to distort every-day words by adding "diddily" to the end or middle of the word. Ned Flanders' voice is provided by Harry Shearer.
As for tourists, Ned had sex with a movie star tourist in one episode. Other than that, I don't really remember him dealing with them, much.

Isn't Flanders that guy who it the neighbor of Homer Simpson? I would say for tourists that would hold an attraction for bible thumping and watching ugly children play!
Seriously though, it is in Brussels and here is a site for tourists.
