I'm throwing a surprise party for my boyfriend of two year at his favorite place. I want to also give him a special gift what do you think would add to the surprise. I already have all his closest friends and family invited and a friend he doesn't get to see often. What's your ideas?

I'm throwing a surprise party for my boyfriend of two year at his favorite restaurant . He will be in New York on his b-day for a conference. So I'm having his party the day after he gets back. I want to also give him a special gift what do you think would add to the surprise. I already have all his closest friends and family invited and a friend he doesn't get to see often. The best way to surprise someone is throwing a party a day before his/her birthday. You could pretend that you are gathering a few friends to celebrate someone's else birthday and he is invited, in this case, it should not be at his place.
I don't know what your budget is, but you could simply give him an envelope , and inside there would be an " invitation " for a gateway weekend. Just the two of you.
Or, in case he likes magazine, a subscription to the one he likes most.
