Ok first of all I am a male, so that rules out "nails", second I am an intern and I go through long periods of time not given work, so that rules out "work", third, it's kind of an open cubicle facing my boss, so the sticky tack idea, while very creative, probably won't work. I'm looking for discreet stuff that will make me at least look like I'm working.

Continue doing what you are doing now. Ask questions on Yahoo and when bossman walks around just minimise the screen.
