I am not a communist but in know this.
Capitalism and Communisima are in a fight to the death.
Captilism has better PR.
What we call Communism like Russsia Cuba China is not real communisim its not close, it is pretty much Fascism with the rehtoric of the worker, people ect. Those were horrible, Capitlism is horrible too but not as bad, depends on where you are in the food chain....

In theory shouldn't everyone be equal. Wouldn't god want that. isn't that what Heavan in our Christian doctrine is all about.

Humor me now.....
Imagine if Heavan were physical place, during the 50 we would be threating to Bomb them....

It's not so much what they DID it's where they failed at! The problem here, and it has been proven by history itself (see Cuban history for example) is that communism as an idea is great but when put to the test will fail to live up to its idealistic expectations. I belive that what is mainly wrong with it is that even though they try to make it look like everyone would be equal in this kind of system there will always be a government and were there is a government there is corruption (see Bush for example or any leader of a nation... but mainly Bush). When someone has power and therefore a right over you, you can hardly call that being equal because no matter how hard you try; their voice is going to be heard over yours. But then again that sounds a lot like the system that we live in right??? So maybe... just maybe the fault is not the ideas we bring forth for a better life as a nation, but the simple fact that power and money corrupt every system.

Do not get a wrong idea about communism because of the soviet union; what you seen in foremer Soviet union was an autoritarian form of communism but communism was never intended to be
state governed.

The main reason why communism there failed is because the Soviet Union did not have enough population to sustain self-reliance. Also it got caught into a expansive arm race with the US.
The US is a capitalist country which is the main cause of poverty in the world; The US is followed by the economic union with making people poorer. American capitalism is aimed at making
a small percentage of american and corporation benefits from
its policies; it is concentrating power to an elite..

This why american poor stay poor and Mcdonald get richer..
Your social programs get cut to finance war that benefits Bush corporations, The average Joe never see the benefits of the war instead iamerican will have to re-pay the deficits. thus the american people are taken for suckers..ie Your Corporation are double dipping your economy, you are being defrauded by your GWB and co.

americans are not benefiting fro the war; Bush friends does..The military coporations does,..Bush is taking the US into a suckhole..

Ever asked yourself why South America is poor ? don't ask cause poverty is US induced. In Insight GWB will have sucess in Iraq; but this sucess is limited at making Iraqis poor regardless that Iraqis sits on the second largest oil reserve in the world..

I look at what you write , most of you have wrong Idea of what communism is...

Picture this : instead of having corporations running businesses, its cooperative running the businesses, the profit of the business is split between the workers or the people who produces..
note if you were giving the same incentives to cooperatives as you give corporations; socialism would work..

Godess, your Cuban example is slightly wrong; Cuba is under an economic embargo there since 45 years; it is denied any chances of success by the US, it is an example of the US making people poorer..
In sight Cuba succeed in producing more doctors than the US, Cuba does not produce terrorism and never attcked american soil.

By comparisonUS leads the way is that it produces more terrorists than any country..

As well the amrican dream is unsustainable, you produce too many cars and in 15 years from now noone will be able to breathe!.. the water is being ovely contaminated, you goddess wont be able to afford a glass of water..!

Communism in its trueist sense is not , the problem with communism as with so many utopian ideals is that people are required to put its principles in action and face the same dangers such as courruption. Republics or if you prefer democracies run into the same problems, but are much better with the checks and balences system to deter any major turmoil. Oh the thing that was written above about killing people that dont agree with you. We (united States) did the same things to the American Indians when they would not assimilate into our system. History does not lie so dont get on a high hourse and think the good ole USA is above killing people for having different beliefs.

Communism on a large scale is inherently flawed.

If a small group of people live in a commune - it is very easy to assure everyone is pulling their fair share of work to contribute to the greater good. It is equally easy to, in exchange for participants contributions, give equal access to the benefits of the commune.

Outside services which the people of the commune can not provide for themselves because they require highly technical or "professional" skills are provided for in mass assumption of the expense for those services.

In a society of millions, how do you compensate those who are required to do that "professional or highly technical work exclusivley. You can't without an uneven distribution of the benefits of the society - the flaw.

In any system you will have haves and have nots. Communism does not reward you for becoming a "have". However, by peoples natural instinct to succeed and thrive to the best of their abilities, people gradually make the flaw within the system larger and larger.

Ideal communism is difficult to achieve or can not be achieve by human being.

Communism believe in equality for all people. For example, all people work should have the same pay regardless of their job.
If you're lazy and make no contribution, you still get the same pay as people working hard and make contribution.

As human always has jeolousy over the other. No way ideal communism can be achieve.

People like Lenin and Stalin tried to achieve this by iron fist authority but the end result was they all failed. Russia reformed now.

Most people hate communism because of American's propaganda.

Nope. Communism is evil for the very fact that it denies the importance of the individual human and because it denies human nature. It subverts the individual to the majority will. It denies human nature in that humans are not perfect, nor will ever be perfect, and unlike termites, ants or bees, do not thrive in a colony where they are expendable cogs. Because 'from each according to his ability, to each according to his need', denies their individual desires and dreams and wants.

That's why it is evil.

And that's not even getting into the millions upon millions that have been murdered by communism.

The idea was not very wrong. It did not work, unrealistic, expectations. Utopia.

Look at experience of Soviets, failure of system in China.

For communists every person is the same, no personality.

We are different.

Yeah, we're probably exaggerating. And every time we kill a sponsored social service or social program by branding it "communist" or "socialist", we're shooting ourselves in the foot and making the country dirtier and stupider for our children.

No worries, communism's on it's way out.
The new Foe is Islam & Moslems.

I hate no one, we're all supposedly part of the same human family I just wish we'd all learn to get on.
Learn to let one another do it their way even if it's different from our own.
