Never answered a political question before but here goes. I believe Bush is a terrible president and should be gotten rid of as quickly as possible. He has us involved in a war that a majority of the people do not want, myself included. What has the war actually done for the US. We are further in debt because of it than we have ever been before. We are fighting for the rights of a people that our government doesn't rule, a country that contributes nothing to our economy and care very little for us as a people. This is a waste of time, money and lives of the people actually fighting there.

I keep hearing how we have the lowest unemployment rate than ever before. Please stop looking at the US as a whole. Look at the southeastern part of the US and think again. More and more jobs are being lost because the big businesses are being shipped over seas. People are loosing their homes along with their dignity here because the government, namely Bush, doesn't care that every single week there is another major plant closing. The politicians keep saying "but look at all these other business that are opening", there are a few jobs available, but compare the wages. The business that closed paid a decent wage, but the new ones pay just barely over minimum wage. How can you compare them. My husband lost his job of 20 yrs because the business closed and had to take a $6/hr pay cut when finding another job. The unemloyment rate may be lower, but the people are going broke. What happened to a fair days wage for a fair days work?

If the economy continues the way it is going and the government continues to not care, there will be a revolution that will sweep the US and won't stop until the US is no more.

I think he's been an outstanding leader in some really tough times. Just a few months after he took office, the world changed. He was thrust into a position - a defensive position - nobody ever expected. America doesn't lie down for anybody, and he had a duty to retaliate and prevent any further terrorist attacks on our or foreign soil.

He has taken a really harsh beating from Liberals - who do nothing to help the situation but accuse, lie, slander, exaggerate, and complain. He has had to take a stance and in America, we are allowed to express our dissent. Unfortunately in times of war, some agree and some don't.

Has he done a good job? Absolutely. The economy is in the best shape it's been in years. We've seen more economic growth in the past 3 years than in any year since Reagan's administration.

Unemployment is at a 50+ year low.

Yes, he has been a great president who has dealt with things few presidents in history have ever had to deal with all at once.

I think he is a very dangerous man.

I think his invasion of Iraq was an issue of a "personal score to settle" rather than on solid evidence that Hussein was involved with al-Qaida, was involved with WMDs, or presented an immediate threat to the US or the region. We have added billions of dollars to the deficit now because of how this entire affair (war and reconstruction) has been handled, not to mention the loss in coalition and Iraqi lives.

I think many of his actions regarding "the fight against terrorism" are aimed at eroding our Constitutional rights and civil liberties to give the government more control over our lives and limit our freedom.

I think his pursuit of issues such as a Constitutional amendment that would prohibit gay marriage and his stands on abortion and stem cell research, among others, are an effort to force his religious beliefs, via law, on all Americans.

I think his stand on the illegal alien issues smells of ulterior motives; he's either looking at their contributions to prop up Social Security or aid business/boost the economy by adding lower cost labor (at the expense of displacing Americans in the job market). I wonder how much of the "job growth" his administration touts is because these jobs are low paying and being filled with illegal labor. I haven't seen any significant job growth in "desirable" jobs...only in the low pay, low skill service sector.

Certainly, 9/11 did not give this President an easy avenue to success in leading this country. But I am hard pressed to find even one thing this President has done that I think he has done well and is deserving of my full support.

I think after 9/11 he did a fine job. Then, when he took the war to Iraq, he went astray. Iraq may have been run by a ruthless dictator, and he did use WMD's on his own people, but I don't believe he was an imminent threat to us. We need to finish what we started in Iraq, so the Iraqi people can govern and police themselves. Then, we need to find Osama Bin Laden and kill him and as many others like him that we can find. At the same time, we need to get back to a true conservative agenda, (lower taxes, less government interference, more personal freedom).

What do I think??? It's the story of Moses except for this one is called Bush and unlike Moses his plan was never to take these boys to the promise land but to give them a detour and heck why not grab a little oil on the way out! Our president is so great he even manage to make "heroes" and vets out of 17 to 45 year old men that plead loyalty to the country in it's "time of need" and send them home in coffins with a medal for honor or bravery! BUSH SHOULD WATCH EACH AND EVERY FACE ON EVERY FALLEN SOLDIER AND MEMORIZE THEIR NAMES AND KEEP THEIR DOG-TAGS SO THAT HE NEVER FORGETS WHAT HE DID TO OUR FATHERS, BROTHERS,COUSINS, UNCLES AND SPOUSES ALL FOR THE SAKE OF MONEY HE MADE A NATION POORER THAN EVER CAUSE THIS LOSS CANNOT BE REPLACED!!!

He is the first LEADER we have had since Reagan. He is not afraid to tackle the tough issues and face critics firmly in the face. He is not driven by poll numbers, unlike our last two presidents. His only problem is that he has poor speech writers and public relations teams. The good news needs to get out!

He stays the course of his commitments no matter the polls & he was & is by all means the better choice than anyone the bleeding heart liberals & the drive by news media attempted to elect. It is interesting to imagine where this country would be now if Mr. Flip-Flop had made the big house.
