It's the latest fad. Only us squares don't have them. I do have a great sound system in my car so someone else can pick the playlist for me. I don't have to waste time and money downloading songs.

two words, money maker. It all about making it smaller and to hold more information. The cell phones are well on their way too, and TVs. One day we are gonna feel like giants cause everything is going to be so small. LOL

i don't have an ipod, i have like an i-river or something. it's just as good and it's cheaper than most ipods

For me it's the features. Particularly the way you can shuffle and make on the fly playlists.
It's bliss!
