Increasing biodiversity is a key element in developing a healthy landscape/garden. Snakes play a crucial role in reducing pest populations. Why would you want to get rid of them?

Surround the outer perimeter of your garden with 3/4" - 1" kelp rope. Snakes will not slither over kepl rope.

Having a dog on the premises is a myth!!!! Clean your yard of any loose debris so that the snakes can't live there.

Put up a plastic owl, cats work... but an owl will keep many critters away without leaving little presents in your garden.

Outside cats usually gets rid of them. Some people say moth balls around your house but it smell bad.

the cats take care of that but I suggest you can buy a mongoose and keep it in the garden.
