It's a myth. We use the 100% of our brain, the thing is that the different parts are used at different times for different things.
Not all the brain is there for reasoning, a large part is used for sensing the environment around us, seeing things, hearing, sexual impulses, etc....

I've heard that we use like 20% of our brains. There are possibilities that we will use 50-100% of our brains in the same time in the future, since no one has done it yet. But we have got to use every part of our brain at least once (not in the same time).

That is a myth ... we now know that nearly all of our brain is being used at most times. The 10-13% myth has been around for a long time but it is decidedly untrue.
