It is possibly overheating. Check the fan. Check power supply, it could be going out. If not:
You probably need to reorder your BIOS by hitting del on startup. If you dont know how to do this please dont try, get help first.
Here is a search of this problem, choose one of these forums that seems most similar to your system and ask them. They should be able to help. Its hard to troubleshoot a problem on Yahoo Answers as we cannot easily have continuous dialogue.

Good Luck!

Wow! Hopefully, you can get the software cleaned ASAP, if it's not too late. It sounds like a virus sign, and if you have a scanner, run it NOW. Then go to your Accessories folder and run your full maintenance to set up your files correctly, and help your computer to work a lot better. It's going to take a while to do this but it is necessary. The only other issue it could be is the battery being low or too old to keep a charge, so, check that also.

Start your computer in safe mode and see if it still happens. Safe mode will stop many but not all software and misconfiguration issues. While your there scan for spyware! If it happens in safe mode, then your motherboard and/or Ram may be the culprit.
