I'm 40 now and need to find a doctor who can teach me what I need to know about body changes in the near future. I think a woman would be better since she would know by her own experience but I don't know how to find a good one.

Ask around. Honestly the best doc is one YOU feel comfortable with, so don't be shy about asking to schedule a "meet and greet" with a new doc before letting them examine you. Most reputable practices will be happy to oblige.

ask around to your female friends and see who they have and who they recommend. I had a big problem with findign someone I liked and trusted, and after 3 tries (and 3 reccomndations), i did find someone and she is great!
