Ragnarok On-line. YOur over 13, so you should be able to play. Its a fun RPG style game with guilds, hunting other people down, castle raiding, and more.

its hugely popular and has about 21 universes that you can join, it also has international websites and a forum.

A very good and also free mmorpg is MuOnline, it has lots of servers all around the world, and the downloan pack is only about 200 MB.

There are a few that you can Beta-test... Other than that, maybe run a search for MUDs (Multi-User Dungeon).. They're strictly text, but they can be fun, if you don't mind the lack of imagery... LostSouls used to be an okay one...
...Man, I just wish they'd come up with an MMORPG that isn't redundant and boring. I'd pay for that. :(
