Debbie R is exactly right. If you plan on camping, bring along the gear in which you feel most comfortable: motorhome, tent, pop ups, etc. There is much to see and do all across northern Wisconsin. Check online with each of the counties you may anticipate traveling through--Vilas, Bayfield, Washburn, Burnett, etc. Most, if not all, will have a schedule of events. Many towns have their yearly celebrations during weekends with a variety of activities. County fairs are popular attractions too. Happy traveling!

Bring a great insect repellant, a bicycle, sunscreen, and a guide to Northern Wisconsin. Also, get a listing of Festivals going on--Wisconsin is one of the most Festival oriented states around, and most are centered around good food. If you like to fish, I would suggest your fishing equipment, and get a fishing license while you are there.

Depends on when you are going--if you are going in the summer, you need bug spray and lots of it!! I would also pack long pants and sweaters--they have cool evenings
