I like the to watch the Superbowl. But there is no question the biggest event in the world is the World Cup. You have nations declaring a national holiday when that country's team plays. There are over 5 Billion people watching the World Cup.
You can combine the NFL, NBA, World Series and you still will not get half of the billions of people following the World Cup.

If you are talking in the United States i would have to say the Super Bowl. But all over the world the World Cup is 5 times as big as the super bowl. These are peoples country's they are routing for. Not a team that could change any day because of greediness that comes with an NFL contract.

The World Cup easily. More nations, bigger competition and everyone has a team to support.
Outside of the US, not many countries care too much about the Super Bowl or "World" Series.

I am from Europe and to answer your question, what is the Super Bowl or The World Series? Honestly I do not know what they are and most European I think that they do not know. I think I should put a question on those two.
So my guess is The World Cup.

If you ask me I say Superbowl because millions that don't go watch it on TV remember Janet Jackson. I definitely would say The Super Bowl. They couldn't stop talking about that but the World Series is running close on the Super Bowl ***.

obiously the world cup. almost every country in the world participates in it. the superbowl is just a speck in the distance compared to the world cup

for us Americans, the superbowl. Everybody from atlantic to pacific, and even those stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan, tune in to watch the game.
