Americans are rude, lazy, selfish and arrogant. Yes, we should keep out of other countries' disputes. You wouldn't want someone whose life is screwed up telling you how to run yours, would you? America is a mess. We have no business telling others what to do. We should stay home and clean house here.

When you go out to the mall or a restaurant how often do you see poorly behaved children. You know the ones that I mean. The ones that scream at the top of there lungs throw loud temper tantrums and make it impossible for you to have a good time as a result. You know that in a restaurant the manager will never say anything to that table and you are meant to suffer. It happens all the time.

Now as adults of this nation we are the spoiled children. The ones in the world who have anything and everything that we can ever want. We scream bloody murder at the soring prices at the gas pumps and gas bill, but nobody is willing to step up and allow oil refineries in there back yard. That might cut into the value of said home. Honestly, would you want one of those in your back yard? This nation has enough oil to supply this country we just don't have the means to refine it. On average we consume three times more fossil fuels then any other country in the world.

What does this have to do with your question? Quite a bit. We are a world super power and the biggest hypocrites on the planet.Using the world as a stage we are the screaming children in the restaurant. The world is tired of the rich children telling them how to do things.

I understand that this doesn't even hit the nail on the head properly and there is a lot more to it then that. Much much more.

Yes, it's time The US did. But, the US is not gonna, because war means big bucks for the US. It's what keeps the economy ticking-the blood of the innocents the maimed and the killed. There's no cold war, and yet Arms Production has increased.

And someone above forgot the Russians (especially the Russians) and good old patsy and maid with wide open legs UK, then the French Resistance and the Poles and all the other allies that helped win WWII, not just great ole Unca Sammy, massa!

Render unto Cesar what is Cesar's, no wonder the US is hated so much, and did someone say the Chinese? well they constitute a major chunk of humanity on this planet, and the Muslims-well it just happens to be the most practiced religions in the world, with the largest amount of oil reserves. No wonder Sammy licks the Sheiks back sides and then kicks them and then gets buggered. The Iraqis are dying on their own soils, guess where our brave soldiers are dying? On soil that belongs to those that hate them!

Why is America hated so much you ask, and should we keep out of other countries disputes? Are you an American or other nationality? by the way you ask this question, seems like you hate it here in America, if you live in our country keep your opinions to yourself about putting the American people down if not keep your mouth shut about us. We will always defend our nation and we will be united whatever the circumstances.

Who are the "so many nations" that hate us? If it's the Chinese, Russians, 3rd world dictators, Arab fascists, etc. then I don't feel too bad about it.
The U.S. saved and rebuilt Europe after WW II and gives more aid around the world than any other country. Do we make mistakes? Yes.
If we're such a bad country, why do so many people from around the world want to come here? I've had the opportunity to visit and live in some foreign countries and once you've done that, you can really appreciate how great this country is.

I find it so funny that the first answer here was "Americans are lazy." What planet are you from lady?

The American work week is at LEAST 40 hours - most people work significantly more, even 80 or more.

Do you know the work week in European countries? 30 hours. Do you know the average time a US worker gets for vacation per year? 3 Weeks. Do you know how much time Eurpoeans get? 4-5 weeks.

Do you know how much time Americans take for lunch breaks? It used to be 1 hour, but nowadays, it's 15-30 minutes. There is an article on Yahoo news today verifying this (see the link below).

Do you know how much time other countries take for lunch? 1 word - siesta.

Do you know that PRODUCTIVITY has dropped OVER 40% during the World Cup in European and middle-eastern countries (which already have low productivity)? So do the math. 30 hour work week at 40% off, what is that. 18 hours? Wow. But alas, Americans apparently are the lazy ones.

America is a leader in almost every category of business, industry, computing, education, and the list goes on. I assure you, it's not because we are lazy. Get your facts straight before you take your liberal rhetoric vomit and spew it all over the rest of us.

The Left Media around the world and our own tells them we are awful so they know very little else.

The overwhelming majority of folks around the globe do like us.

However, The American Media decided at the very beginning of this war that a good war would be politically disadvantagous to the Democratic party and good for President Bush. So at all costs that had to be changed. They don`t want you to see the humanitarian reasons we went to war. They pick and choose what they are going to show us and tell us. No action we do is seen in a good light. They don`t want you to feel good about America and this war. They don`t want you to feel good that we are freeing 60,000,000 people, half of them women.
The Communist Media never went away, they just changed their names and still attack America in a daily onslaught.
The Socialist Never went away, their Media does the same.
The Supporters of the Terrorist and their Media never went away as we are in a global war with them.
The dictators who fear us and their state run Media is every day attacking us.
The anti American media out numbers pro 6 to 1 even here in America. In America 90% of reporters and Journalist are Liberals, not conservatives.
The same in our Universities 90% are left, and they teach the journalist. These numbers are well documented. Many Journalist consider themselves citizens of the World and not even Americans. Many refused to wear an American Flag lapel pin when the rest of us were waving flags in the street after 911. These are the people who tell the rest of the world who we are.

The pakistani family in our church said America is the Greatest country on Earth and "Is Gods Gift to the World".
They say the news in Pakistan was heavily anti American but you had to read between the lines to find the truth. He said even CNN International seemed anti American most of the times. This is the fate of those who live out side of America and especially in the third world.
Our military was first on the scene in the pakistani Earthquake and are there now. They were there First in the Iranian Earthquake, with Iran`s permission. They were there after the Tsunami. These people know who we are, they always knew.
Germany the Bastion of Hate America in Europe or so the Media would have you believe just elected a pro American Government. Oh yes the Left American media might not have told you about that one.
Our country is one of the few where we need to build a fence to keep those seeking freedom out.

What make you think we are hated by so many other countries?
Is it ignorance or the belief that the media always reports the truth?

Maybe the U.S. should leave the United Nations so we are not asked to get involved in other countries affairs so much.

Again I ask does any sane person think North Korea or Iran shoud have nueclear weapons given the record of their past behaviors? Maybe the rest of the world should deal with them then and let us ride this one out? The U.S. is not going to be the only ones threatened by their having these weapons.

There are also more little wars and conflicts going on we are not involved with than we are. We are the bad ones untill help is needed. Then stand there with your hands out demanding our help.

We are hated by so many other nations because of what our government has done to them this information comes from our military and we should keep out of the disputes of other nations and let them solve their own problems and we should do the same.

The people of our wonderful, beautiful country are getting a bad rap because of our politicians. I've talked to people from England who came to our country as tourists. They were shocked at how wonderful our people are and how many truly caring and kind people they have met in the U.S. They couldn't wait to get back home to tell their friends what a misconception they have about the Americans. They didn't find one unfriendly person on their whole trip and were raving about the quality of people they have met here. We are wonderful people and should be proud of it. A few bad apples in high places can spoil it for the rest of us. Our military complex is pretty much running the show and as long as this is the case, we will be hated.
