I was at Bon Jovi and there were concert organisers walking round selling backstage passes. You may have remembered there were a group of people on the stage behind the band and he walked up to them and touched their hands etc.

For the golden circle these are the most expensive tickets and are on sale with the other tickets.

I too found them fantastic....boy Jon still has it...he can park his shoes under my bed anyday.

1. Look incredibly sexy and young and be invited.
2. Figure out who the "entourage" is surrounding the person you want to see up close and personal. Determine if you have anybody in your own circle of relatives and friends who might be able to introduce you to someone in the entourage.
3. Get a job someplace where you get freebies like back stage passes. Something like interning or usheringat the concert location. Or receptionist at a great Public Relations firm that deals with the artist you want to see.

For many bands - especially Bon Jovi - often times perferred seating is offered for sale to fan club members first.

Golden circle tickets generally go on sale the same time as ordinary tickets but you have to be quick.
however, if you arrive at a gig very very early and queue as I did at U2 they let a limited number of people in and issue wristbands. I have also been lucky on ebay a couple of times , without having to pay extreme amounts to the touts !!
