I've never seen anything like the things people describe when they're talking about ghosts and I don't believe the stories.
BUT
I have seen the shadow of a woman cast on a wall with nothing visible between the wall and the light source. I've also seen black silhouettes of people in my peripheral vision which blink back to normal as soon as I try to take a proper look.
I entertain a fanciful theory about time travellers that might explain it and also sudden drops in temperature.
There are ghosts of conscience, certainly. The imagination playing with feelings of guilt or of sympathy. Those hauntings, I concede.

Have you ever researched -- yourself -- what the Bible itself has to say regarding ghosts? Let this article take you on a 'guided tour' of the Bible to see just what God's thoughts are on the subject ...
Is There Life After Death?

Do You Have an Immortal Spirit?
http://www.watchtower.org/library/w/2001/7/15/article_02.htm
You ask if I've ever seen a ghost. No, for the reasons explained in the articles above. But I have heard & seen things happen that were not 'normal' occurences. There is a Very Good explanation for these, OTHER than 'ghosts'. I don't question the fact that there are spirits. However, they can't be remnants of people ...
... For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are >conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages<, ... (Ecclesiastes 9:5)
"Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine." (1Th 5:21)

You will find that those people who have experienced ghost phenomena do not feel that have to explain themselves. They don't have to defend themselves. They know what they experienced. It is the same with people who have experienced U.F.O.s. They feel no need to defend what they experienced. I get that same rush when I'm out in the woods and come upon a great blue heron at the edge of a pond. The ghosts-thing is slightly different. Some experience direct manifestation. That is pretty exciting. What I have experienced is, I will come into a room and - whamee! There is a presence. It usually has a vertical and slightly darker than the rest of the room appearance. That individual who mentioned "catching them out of the corner of your eye" is right on. That's how it seems to happen.. they fleet by so quickly, if you are not fairly clear yourself, you will miss them. I have also felt people with E.S.P. experience this ghost thing quite often, but so often they no longer even mention it, because as they say, "it comes with the territory." So to answer you question, "Yes. and Yes." Happy Ghosting to you!!!

Yes, I believe in them, no, i've never seen one, but I have had experiences 2 times. The first time I was working for a Client (I'm a home health aide) and was spending the night on the couch. I just had a sheet over me, and it lifted up and shook 3-4 times (like when you're trying to make the bed flapping it up and down), not 10 seconds later my client called me. It really freaked me out and I wouldnt sleep there for over a year LOL! The second time was at his new appartment, His front room, is a living room/kitchen/dining room, and I was standing by the toaster, when the clock that was on top of the refrigerator (all the way across the room) flew off and hit the couch 5ft away. This time I wasnt afraid, cause I had been reading up on stuff like this, so I told it to knock it off and behave itself. We think that the spirit may be my clients father, but we dont have any proof.

Yes, and yes. I'm not going to explain it because you'd have to have been there.
I believe that ghosts are a residual manifestation of a life energy that makes things alive. I believe this energy is nothing spiritual or divine, just simply another form of energy that scientists haven't discovered yet and therefore don't believe exists, but will do at some point.
I reckon that this energy can be infused with memory, and so sometimes hangs around for some reason when it should dissipate after death.

I see them all the time, and I do believe in my own eyes. All of my experiences have been different, so its not easy to place an idea in a box as to what ghosts are. I think most theories are right depending on the circumstance and that particular ghost or haunting.

Yes. I haven't seen one but I believe I lived in a haunted building a few years ago, it was very old and wierd things used to happen there. The place freaked me out because I felt the ghost wasn't friendly and I was happy to leave there.

A house my friend lived in actually had to be exorcised as they found their two year old levitating above his cot. A preist came out and hung a cross on the wall but it went missing a couple of days later. More crazy stuff happened, like the kid talking to "a man in dress" in the corner of the room, so they moved out after a week and actually found the cross on top of the kitchen cabinets. I have taken part in a Séance as well, and as i was a sceptic i took my fingers off the glass and asked the spirt (who was my counsin apparently) what his nickname for me was, and i sat there and watched it spell it out even tho i was sat in a room with 4 strangers. Life changing experience. And for all those people out there who don't believe in it, please say "I don't believe" rather than "Ghosts DON'T exisit" there are some things in life that we can not explain and comments saying things don't exist is very narrow minded

I believe not exactly in ghosts but in spirits, who can be a kind of ghost. I have never seen one, but my grandfather had an interesting experience once. He had a terrible injury which never got better when one night he saw the spirit of a young lady, dressing white, entering his bedroom carrying a glass of water and blessing the leg which was injuried. Next morning his leg began to get better. If she was a ghost I don´t know but for sure my grandpa was not dreamimg.
