There are people that just need a little help getting their finances straightened out. They may ask but they are ignored. If a person is receiving help from the government they can never get ahead because if they try they lose the help they need to stay ahead. I am sure their are many people who could afford to build many people houses with no payments and it would not hurt their income at all. I dont mean to help those that do nothing and expect a hand out, I mean their are those that do work and the pay is not enough to get their own home. Some may be able to get the house but it takes all their paycheck to pay for it.

The most diffilcult part when handing out money is weather the person that you are giving it to is going to put it to good use. Everyone in life should make it for themselves. The wealthy did. Most of them did not take handouts and they achieved their wealth by hard work. My hand out to people is that I give them jobs. If they plan to make good use of the money and invest in their future instead of blowing it all, then they too will have wealth in the near future. Although we have money to spare, it is not our job in life to work for others who can't see that they can't make it themselves.

I'm confused is that a question or statement? And are you the one that needs help or the one that helps?

Anyhow, It depends what sort of help you are asking for? Personally I would not give money to anyone who is bad with money. Would you give a person who is always broke the money to repay their debt? Of course not, they will just get back into debt and you will never see your money again. There are people who gets hand outs all the time but still are broke? Even if they promise to give it back they never do. Thats how people see it. Banks are like that. Why would a bank give money to someone who never seems to pay their payments on time. If thats the case with their other bills, it is a very good chance they will not pay the bank back. You need to build a reputation where you are reliable. In your case, I would not even think about buying a home if you can't even afford to get by. Manage your finances first. Get a second job, if possible and use all the income to pay off debt or save.

Also there are government grants that help people buy homes, so go to the county offices and ask. I believe its the Dept of Housing and Development, but not sure. Just go to the county offices and ask someone where you may be able to get info about financial assistance or grants for home buyers with little income. Good Luck

Wow. The self doubt and misery displayed by that question is truly disheartening. Many (MANY) people contribute money and time to assist others in need - perfect example is Warrick Dunn and his support for Habitats for Humanity.

Try concentrating on those who do instead of those who dont. By praising the positive behavior you can exert more influence on those who have not yet started exhibiting said behavior.

Your assumption is ludicrous. Your level of income does not determine your willingness to contribute to various charities...but rather your beliefs, creed, etc. To assume that everyone who is financially stable is that superficial is a fallacy. Good people come from all walks of life and socioeconomic levels. If you need assistance, there are all types of programs that you can look into. Just direct your energy to your problems, instead of wasting anger on people that you believe have slighted you.
