Hi Caroline! I hope you're resting,by now,and feeling better!:)
I,too, have a strong headache today, but mine is all about stress. These last ten days or so were not easy,a lot of work to do and the computer giving me all kinds of problems. But I'm taking care of myself,no worries.
My Mom uses to have headaches related to sinus and I've asked her what to do.She agrees with the persons who answered before me,especially about the heat(unless there's an inflammation. In this case, cold is better),and sends you a big hug!:) We both will keep you in our thoughts and hope you'll be better soon, soon!:)

accupuncture, massage therapy, cranial sacral therapy, all work well for any type of headache. Your sinus h/a is probably due to an allergy. Have you gone for allergy testing. You may want to see a naturopathic doctor in order to rule out some food allergies such as dairy and wheat.which is a huge culprit with sinus headaches. Try eliminating these two things from your diet in the meantime.

I have had blasted allergies all my life. A hot wet washcloth and sinus massage, ear candling, and sinus lavage w warm salt water have been my best remedies, besides making sure to take a decongestant every day.
BTW, I did the allergy testing and shots twice to no avail. So it's been imperative that I learn to deal w it myself.

This humble doctor turned to ayurveda after his sinus could not get cured by traditional treatments and in the process, sunk himself in ayurveda!
Jalneti is most inexpensive and will take care of your headache in just 5 minutes. But you must learn it from an experienced person. Once you read above mesage and pose a querry who is closest to your location, you can contact him and learn free on one condition, you must also teach the same thing free to others!

Anything that thins out the blockage and relieves pressure in the sinus'. I usually go sit in the steam room and use some eucalyptus evaporative - a nice hot bath also works.

Sinusitis is the main cause of the headaches and that can be miserable. I recommend a tea made from equal measures of Elderflowers, Eyebright and Peppermint. Both the Elderflower and the Eyebright have anti-histamine properties and will give lasting relief.

i know for a fact that the best natural CURE, REALLY CURE for sinus is garlic.first thought don't like it or the body smell, don't worry. buy the garlic in tablets or capsules wich are oddorless.but the way my sister in law cured hers was with one litter boiled water,to this she added at least 4 cloves of garlic let it sit at room temp.and keep in the refrig. drank one of this quart everyday, for a few months and never had not even a simple cold.my kids used to get bronchial neumonia every 2 weeksor really bad colds ,so every two weeks i'll be at the dr. office with them.since i learned about the garlic i never had to take them back to a doctor untill now that they are adults and don't take care of themselve.i used the capsules.pinched a neddle hole in onesqeezed it in a spoon, add some juice and let them drink it.garlic is a natural antibiotic.i had recommend it to others who used to take vitamin C everyday or other medicines and they thanked me for the releif they got.

Well, the one-time treatment Atlasprofilax would do it - and much more, it's simply amazing.
Just - it's available in California and Europe only, costing approx. 220 dollars. Give it a try, you'll really be surprised. Had my own experience... :-)

Cold Flannel on the forehead, Lemsip/Hot Lemon Water. A humid room can help too. Relaxation, not dark, but dim lights, and depending on the individual certain weak scents can help (for me its burning candles)
