They weren't bad they were just outplayed. And don't forget that Czech Republic is ranked no. 2 right behind Brazil, a lot of people think the Czechs are a low ranked team, but their up their with Brazil. Also USA just couldn't serve the ball up into the box and when they did Czech just deflected the ball. If you look at the Match Facts USA only had like 4 shots the whole game and the Czechs had like 10, this is because the Czechs would bring their men up so they would have the numbers on offense, and then once the USA had possession of the ball the Czechs did a great job of defending so they could get back in time to defend.

They depend only on Reyna and Donovan, which Reyna is good a good player, oh yes I forgot he's from Argentina. All the other players try to fit in with the sport but that is something they will never advance into. We saw yesterday how the czech kicked their asses. Too bad the U.S is in the world cup they could leave the spot for another team, that is sad that they will go home with only 2 goals and 0 points, well 1 if they are lucky.

USA is releatively a new team. The Czechs are not . They have players in the European leagies and hence are used to high level competition.

Simple they played SOCCER and the under strength Czech team gave them a valuable lesson in FOOTBALL...it's ok they'll learn more when Italy and Ghana beat them and send them home for some golf lessons just in time for tha US Open!!!

US are outsiders despite thier 1/4 final exit 4yrs ago,while czech are a great team,arsenal's rosicky was great!
