The right time to move out would be when you feel you are mature enough to handle all that life has to offer. There is a lot of life out there to discover. Be ready to take the risk.

n you support your self
do you have accommodation
do you have a support network i.e family/friends
are you aware of things like-rent and other bills
are you leaving because you want to ,and not to prove a point
then your ready---if your leaving due to trouble at home there are many organizations out there that can help .check them out first so you are safe. in England the law is 18 however if a child moves out at say 16 not many courts will make the child return.

Hopefully at the age of 18 or 19 but if you are not financially ready at that age, then no longer then 23 please cause after that you are just pathetic.
Remember you can always get a room mate to split the cost of living.

As soon as you are not in school. So if you're going to college, carrying a decent credit load and getting decent grades, you can stay home. As soon as you graduate, drop out, take only a class or two or are just getting failing grades, You're Out
