Many reasons. Because men are tempted by other women and are weak creatures. Because the relationship becomes boring. Because men feel pressured to marry in the first place. Because the love is a sisterly/brotherly love. Because the other woman has more money. Because the man is gay and cant live a lie etc. It mostly involves someone else enticing them away.

Well I think (I am going on 23 years and still crazy in love with my wife) that you need a few things. First you have to have good chemistry right form the start. Second you have to talk to each other like your best friends. I think then you need to have Awesome sex, what ever that is for you two (it maybe romantic or raw and nasty) then I think you have to want to take care of each other. When some of these fails then it just brings down the whole thing. It is a really tough thing to make work. I wish you the best

I'm real sorry to hear that. Hopefully it's not a permanent thing, as you obviously still care so much for him.
Lot's of us men are seriously immature and fail to understand what 'responsibility' really entails.
It is true though, Loving someone and Being in love with someone are two different worlds.
There is always a silver lining on every dark cloud though, you just have to know where to look.

I would never do that to my marriage and my loving wife! That would just be stupid! Why would anyone want to throw a good thing away? You would regret it if you did and you could never get it back dont ya think?
