So, in effect, it is acceptable to be gay, as long as no one knows....

the rule is. simply . you can be gay you just cant act on your umm how would you say.. urges.. sounds weird but thats what it says basicly. people only get in trouble when they are in the act of doing something found homosexual.

The current policy is "Don't ask, don't tell" I wouldn't tell if I didn't want to find out what other soldiers think--I don't think it will be favorable.
